Make A Difference for Animals
Thanks for your interest in cruelty-free and vegan living!
MC Pony
MC Pony writes and performs hip hop in a distinctive and heartfelt style, both delighting and educating audiences with her trademark "mindful rhymes for kinder times". Her Veganthused!
project is all about "inspiring and encouraging people to explore and embrace veganism". Despite performing material that raises awareness about animal rights, environmental and social justice issues, an MC Pony show is fun, upbeat, and entertaining - it's activism with a smile!
She has performed nationally at events such as the Sydney Vegan Festival, the Sydney Vegan Expo, and Sydney's Cruelty Free Festival, Canberra's Living Green Festival, and Melbourne's World Vegan Day, and even internationally in the US (Hawai'i and California). Her first single, "Happy Veganniversary", was co-written with Ralph Graham and features Renée Jonas, and her second track “Vegan for Life”
launched in June 2016 to coincide with her 18th Veganniversary celebrations.
Subsequent singles have charted on the Triple J Unearthed overall charts and also in the hip hop and pop genres, and the music videos have won awards at multiple international film festivals.
The VOCAL Project
The VOCAL Project: A Vision Of Compassion for All Life is Elizabeth Usher's first collection of poetry. The poems are both challenging and inspiring, and explore issues such as animal rights, social justice and the environment.
Elizabeth has done poetry readings and presentations in Australia, the US and the UK.
